I struggle to have the motivation or effort to do things regularly and constantly have low stamina levels etc. Can you help?
How can you improve your stamina, decrease laziness and fufill things when needed?
First of all, eliminate using pot and other types of substances. Secondly, maybe you should consider a physical exam to rule out any sort of physical problem that might be contributing to your low stamina. Third, take a look at your diet and exercise regime. A balanced diet and exercise that includes aerobic and weight training should help you boost your energy level. Fourth, are you depressed? Here are some warning signs of depression:
1. Loss of interest in pleasurable things
2. Weight gain or weight loss of at least 10 pounds in a month
3. Trouble sleeping
4. Trouble waking up
5. Feelings of helplessness and hopelessness
6. Lethargy
7. Suicidal thoughts
8. Obsessive thoughts
9. Crying jags
10. Feeling "numb"
If you have any of these symptoms, then you definitely should consult with your doctor. You may have a clinical depression or even a bi-polar disorder that can be helped with medication and lifestyle changes. Good luck!
Reply:Delegate.
Reply:I have great stamina but have trouble getting things started myself. I found that if I just get it started, I'm fine. I like to finish something once I start it. Maybe that will help. Not smoking and being a vegetarian has helped me too.
Reply:healthy food , fruits and veggies, get rid of so much bread
EXCERCISE works like a charm
decaf green tea
8 cups of water a day
get about an hour of sunlight a day on your skin and for your eyes.
there are TONS more, but give this a shot
just like everything else, diet and exercise. But friends, a meaniful life, a feeling of purpose, maybe even religion works too.
Reply:Eat really healthy, exercise regularly, get enough sunshine into your body and smile :-)
Reply:Get your exercise. It is the single best stamina enhancer out there!
Start with the first step. What do you need to get done? The first step typically leads you to the next which leads you to the next. Pretty soon you're done!
Reply:To will is to select a goal, determine a course of action that will bring one to that goal, and then hold to that action till the goal is reached. The key is action.
Once you get he ball rolling it's hard to stop it.
Reply:You can go for a walk after dinner every day.
Reply:You need to ask yourself a few questions. Are you eating right? Are you getting enough sleep? Are you depressed? If you say yes to eating poorly or not getting enough sleep, you probably know what to do about that. If it's depression, tell your doctor. It's a real illness and should be treated seriously. If it's none of the above, are you in a rut? If it's a rut, change your routine. Find some new and interesting things to do. Look around for some inspiration. Start a new project. Plan a getaway.
Reply:Get into running!!! Start slow and work tourself up!!! When I lack motivation, I either jog with my dog or go running while listening to my ipod because the music keeps me going
Reply:Its mind over matter, now the nicer weather has arrived try going for a walk breath in the fresh air, it will not only wake you up, it will do you good, plus it will help your Stamina, and get you fitter. and its free.
