Your body naturally breaths the right way so there isn't any need to learn a breathing technique.

The way to improve stamina is by running. Most running should be done at a relatively low intensity and doesn't require hard breathing. If you are breathing hard you are running to fast so slow down. If even slow running is too hard you'll need to start with a run/walk program.

For recreational fitness, 3 to 4 days a week for 30 minutes is plenty. Once you can do that then increase the duration of one of the runs or add another day of running. To further improve stamina you'll need to add some tempo running to the mix.
Reply:I guess you have to try to expand your lung and use it's full potential. One manner of doing so is to breathe deeply as much as you are able to. When you inhale, intake to the max so that your tummy rises full. Exhale till your tummy appears as flat as possible.
Reply:Good question.... try drinking water.
