What is the function of stamen?

MALE part of FLOWER: consists of anther and filament. Anter houses and produces pollen (sperm)-meiosis here. Filament holds the anther to the flower.





the main purpose is for reproduction.

What is the function of stamen?
It is the boy part of the flower, looking for the girl part.
Reply:it is male reproduction organ for flowering plants.


The head of stamen (anthea) contains sperms to fertlize the ovum in psitillum
