How can i improve my stamina and endurance?

Im training for a basketball tournament coming up! Also how can i increase my vertical jump?

Reply:if you want to improve your stamina just jug or do laps around your place(not in your home but outside) or in a basketball court





to improve your vertical jump try to use some weights for the legs but select the appropriate weight for you to avoid any injuries.

Reply:To improve stamina for basketball you'll want to use some type of Hiit training or lots of change of direction/stop and go runs e.g. suicides, 16's. then go directly into a drill that involves shooting or jumping. For vertical jump: First you need to figure out what you are lacking, base strength, power, or explosiveness, they are all different and must be trained in different ways. You can figure this out by completing a full vertical jump test progression. Also you'll want to complete a baseline fitness test to uncover any muscle imbalances that you might have. You'll want to pick a program that combines Plyometric/body weight/olympic weight training and sport specific tempo training. Check out my dunk and training videos at:

vertical jump get those weights from big five to tie around your ankles and jump
Reply:RUN! Use a treadmill, elliptical, and stationary bike. Do sprints and suicides. Make it a habit and you will see vast improvement in a short span of time.
