Is poor physical stamina due to an underlying medical condition?

I notice I have poor physical stamina. My friend was teaching me how to pitch for cricket at one stage but I don't have enough strength to even throw the ball far. I noticed that whenever I try to play sport, go to gym or run I get exhausted all the time. I noticed this since I was very young, maybe about 7. I'm 20 now.


Is there something wrong with me? If I have poor physical stamina, how can I ever have sex?

Go see a doctor for a physical to rle out any medical conditions. If you get the all clear, you are just unfit. regardless of the outcome, you need to do something about it. Walk for an hour, daily, get your heart pumping, a good into to fitness. Go from there.

It might be that you are trying too hard at these physical activites right away, instead of getting used to them slowly.

Do you have any other symptoms other than exhaustion? (i.e. irregular heartbeat, palpitations, dizziness, headaches, pain, nosebleeds, etc.?)





If you have no other symptoms, you should start by finding your target heart rate. Look on the web to find out how to calculate it for your specific height, weight, age, etc. Then start doing aerobic exercises daily within in that range for about 30 mins, then do an hour of weights. (i.e. 30 mins on the elyptical or the treadmill). When you lift weights, go for more reps at lighter weight to build endurance, rather than bulk. The last rep is supposed to be very difficult to lift. Stick to that for a month and you should notice a difference. This is not going to happen over night.
