I am right now just able to jog for a little while and want to be able to run two miles easily.
What is the best method to working up the stamina to being able to run long distances?
Run for time, not for distance: wear a good digital watch, and try to run for 10 minutes without stopping, and add 2-3 minutes per stretch each week. Also, I found that chewing gum helped me find a rhythm...music doesn't hurt, either.. Let you mind go and don't think about the "2 miles" part - just go!
