How can I get better endurance, for running and excercising?

I am 16 years old and 18 pounds over weight. I am trying to stay on a diet but I am having trouble exercising. I can't run far or for a very long time because my mouth dries out and I loose stamina. I really want to exercise better and loose weight but I can't do it because I have little to no stamina. Are there any tips you can give me to gain stamina so I can exercise better and more effectively?

Thanks

Just to keep at it!! Don't give up!

Walk for 15 minutes, and run for 15 then walk again. Carry a water bottle and take some swigs from it from time to time while you are doing your workout.

Mostly it takes time to build up stamina and endurance. The more time you put into your program, the easier it will become.

Mix the walk/run program with some gym activities so the bod doesn't become too used to only one routine.

Eat lite!! DIET is a very dirty 4-letter word denoting temporary activity!! Change this to low carb lifestyle! Cut portions of starchy foods to a couple of small spoonfuls or bites. Eat more salads, nice dark green leafy with colorful veggies and fruits on them! With a couple tablespoons REAL dressings, not that vinegary sour stuff. Much easier to cut portions of real stuff than to eat nasty tasting stuff!!

Mostly just keep on doin the exercising daily without missing!!
Reply:you have to start out slow and build your endurance start out walking briskly for 30 minutes a day then the next week try walking a lap then running a lap for 30 minutes and progressively add more running and less walking you just have to build up slowly just be persistant with it and you will succeed good luck
Reply:You can get better endurance for running and exercising by...running and exercising.

Keep doing what you are doing but gradually add more. Keep a journal of daily exercises to mark improvement, drink plenty of water, and eat right.

Oh, and it is 'lose' weight, not 'loose' weight.
Reply:run as much as u can, when u r out of breath start walking, as soon as u regain ur breath to about 70% start running again. But most importantly breathe right when u run. inlale 4 steps and exhale 4 steps. avoid starting the exhaling 4 steps when when your right foot hits the ground. dont pay too much attention to ur breath, otherwise u'll run out of it too soon. stay distracted, when u run with a motive to run u will run a short distance. but when u run with a distraction(say running behind a bus or running away from a dog thats chasing u) ull run a lot more. ive done it and it works. i can now run 6-7 km non stop.
