okay i have basketball conditioning tuesday and i was wondering if i were to run 2 miles for 2 days and do extra physical activities on those days as well, will that be good?

It'll be good for you but you won't notice the effect in just two days. The body takes time to make changes to the stamina - probably you'd notice an effect after about a month of increased exercise.
On the other hand, there's no reason why you can't start now!
